A tour of the Old Midleton Distillery is a journey through the story of Irish whiskey by means of an audio-visual presentation (available in 8 languages). Follow the old distillery trail through mills, maltings, stillhouse, warehouses and kilns - some of these buildings date back to 1795.
View the largest pot still in the world prior to sampling the internationally renowned Jameson Whiskey in the bar (minerals for children). Perhaps you'll have the opportunity of becoming a qualified Irish whiskey taster in the Jameson Bar? The Malt House Restaurant has gained a reputation for serving excellent homeamde food. All the main courses are entirely prepared and cooked on site using the local fresh ingredients.
The Malt House is open Nov - March: Tuesday - Saturday, 10.00-16.00, and April - Oct: Daily, 10.00-16.00.

After a private tour of the Old Distillery, guests enjoy an aperitif of a large glass of Jameson. A sumptuous five-course banquet dinner prepared by our resident head chef and team follows, and as dessert is served, the fun begins. Our resident team of musicians and dancers evoke an authentic and lively atmosphere, and help you party the night away!

A premium boardroom and private facility in our Master Distillers cottage dating back to 1825, is the ultimate in Corporate meeting space. For up to 12 pax exclusively this boardroom is fully equipped with Plasma screen, AV facilities, stationary and complimentary mineral water.
