Exhibitions

Dublinia is one of Dublin’s top visitor attractions with three exciting exhibitions, Viking Dublin, Medieval Dublin and History Hunters! All located at the historic crossroads of old Dublin.
The Viking and Medieval Dublin exhibitions bring the city to life in an exciting and contemporary way for all ages to learn and share.  See what life was really like onboard a Viking warship, visit a Viking house and learn of their myths and mysteries.  Learn all about the death and disease of Dublin in medieval times, experience the Dublin fair and visit a bustling medieval street.  Finally, unearth the city’s past at the History Hunters exhibition; see how archaeology works with history and science to put together the pieces of our past.  Visit the lab, and also see real Viking and Medieval artifacts (on loan from the National Museum).
Living History takes place every weekend during the summer months, and at 2.30pm every day costumed guides provide a tour of the Viking or Medieval exhibitions.
