Bunratty Castle & Folk Park is one of Ireland's premier visitor attractions and richly deserved to feature on the itinerary of every visitor to the Shannon region. Bunratty Castle, built in 1425, is the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland and contains furnishings, tapestries and works of art from the period.

The castle is famous for the night time medieval banquets which operate there throughout the year (reservations necessary). Bunratty Folk Park, set on 26 acres, is a stunning recreation of 19th Century Ireland and features various types of farmhouses, a church a magical walled garden and village street complete with pub, post office and various shops. A Tradition Irish Night operates in the Folk Park on evenings from April- October (reservation necessary).

Night-time dinner entertainments
Enjoy the Bunratty Medieval Castle Banquet at either 5.30pm or 8.45pm or the Traditional Irish Night at the Corn Barn at 7pm(April - October). Reservations are necessary for Dinner Entertainments.

Christmas Opening Hours
Bunratty Castle & Folk Park will close on December 23rd and reopen at 9am on December 27th.

The Bunratty Collection features over 450 items of medieval furniture and artifacts housed at Bunratty Castle in Co Clare. Bunratty Castle and Folk Park is the perfect venue for incentive groups. 15th Century Bunratty Castle offers the option of a spectacular Medieval Banquet. The entertainment is provided by the renowned Bunratty singers and musicians and is complemented with delicious four course meal with wine. The Traditional Irish Night at Bunratty Folk Park celebrates the best in Irish music, song and dance. At the Traditional Irish Night, the wine is plentiful and the food is cooked in a traditional way with portions that challenge the largest appetite!

At Bunratty Folk Park, our unique open air venue is ideal for incentive programs varying from short animated visits to full day interactive 19th Century activities with the popular Folk Park animators.
